About My Blog
Like the many nurses to blog before me I, too, wanted a creative outlet in which to share my emotions and thoughts about being a nurse. This is cheaper than therapy and healthier than drugs or alcohol. Although, the occasional Mai Tai, Margarita or glass of red wine has come in handy. I’m not sure where this blog journey will take me, or you for that matter, so welcome to the ride that is my inner dialogue. If I should happen to educate, entertain or enlighten you along the way, yay for me. However, I have a feeling that I'll also offend, anger and frighten some of you. My blogs are IN NO WAY meant to serve as medical advice. The blogs are my thoughts, feelings and emotions about a particular event, topic or encounter. If you decide to “read between the lines,” somehow deciphering medical advice or if you try to re-enact a scenario, Darwin has a place for you. HOWEVER, if I do come across an article in which I feel excellent medical advice is offered, I will post a link.
